The nominations for the 2012 Latin Grammys have arrived with good news for Sterling’s Tom Coyne.

Three albums Mr. Coyne mastered in past year, Ricardo Arjona’s Independiente, Carla Morrison’s Déjenme Llorar, and ChocQuibTown’s Eso es lo que hay, are in the running for Album Of The Year. Ricardo Arjona is one of the most succesful singers in Latin America, having sold more than 20 millions records to date. Independiente is his thirteenth studio album, reaching #1 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums charts. Carla Morrison is a Mexican born pop rock singer and political activist. Déjenme Llorar is her fourth studio album; it has been praised for its intimate and honest songwriting. ChocQuibTown is a Columbian hip-hop group who have released five albums in the past six years; they were nominated for and won a Latin Grammy Award in the past.

The ceremony will be held in Las Vegas on November 15. Check out the video for Independiente’s lead single “El Amor” and an interview with Carla Morrison below!
